BULLDOG PRIDE
Bulldog pride is gearing up for the upcoming sports season. Go by and see all the new caps and shirts. 1028 S. 13th, in the Abo Shopping Center. Open 10-5 Tuesday thru Friday. Store will be closed June 27th – June 30th for training.
AUXILIARY THRIFT SHOP
The Auxiliary thrift shop will be holding sales all summer long and will be posted on their Facebook page. Daily Specials and weekly sales. Keep an eye out of all the great buys. follow them on Facebook. Located at 611 N. 1st. Just a reminder that they accept donations of any and all household items, they do offer donation receipts to those donating items. They are a non- profit organization and your generous donations are appreciated.
VARSITY ACADEMY MMA

They also want you to know they have drop-in classes available. They will be running their full schedule all summer with a drop in option or no contract option for kids who are around for the summer only! $5 drop in.
They also have fun Friday obstacle course! They will have the whole facility setup with a huge obstacle course! $5 per session. Session A is 10-11am and Session B is 11am-Noon. All of these events are open to the community they do not need to be our students to attend.

“FREE” PRE-PACKAGED MEALS FOR KIDDOS THIS SUMMER
Beginning 5/30/23 Artesia Public Schools will be providing “FREE” pre-packaged meals (Breakfast & Lunch) to children ages 1 to 18 on the following dates:
-Tuesday, May 30, 2023
-Then every Monday in June & July they will send you home with 7 Breakfasts & 7 Lunches
*Special dates to note-no meals will be served Monday July 3rd, instead it will be Wednesday July 5th (3 of each meal)
And Monday July 24th will be 6 of each meal instead of the normal 7.
They will serve meals at the following sites (Artesia Junior High “Park Jr. High”, Artesia Intermediate/”Zia”, Grand Heights, and Roselawn)
Meals will be served from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Children must be present when picking up meals. If you have any questions, please contact Cody Skinner or Julie Sedillos in the Administration Office 575-746-3585.

CHASE FOUNDATION COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
Wednesday, June 21st, Thursday, June 22nd, & Friday, June 23rd, 2023
Artesia High School student recipients of the Chase Foundation Scholarship will be volunteering to do community service jobs. The community service will be to assist the Senior Citizens of Artesia. Students will be in groups with an adult supervisor. They will be available for yard work, cleaning outside windows, and various odd jobs as needed. They will have all the equipment they need and are not allowed to enter the homes.

They have sign-up sheets located at the Artesia Meal Site, Artesia Chamber of Commerce, Artesia Senior Center, and Pecos Valley Broadcasting (KSVP Radio station).
