VETERANS DAY CEREMONY & EVENTS
Veterans Day is coming up Friday, November 11, 2022. Here are a few things happening for our veterans in Artesia:
Thursday, November 10:
8:00 am – 6:00 pm – Free Car Wash for all veterans at Superior Express (in front of Wal Mart)
Friday, November 11:
8:00 am – 10:00 am– J & J Home Care Annual Veterans Day pancake breakfast at TLC building of First Baptist Church
9:30 am – Flag Walk beginning at Limitless Fitness and looping around Eagle Draw
11:00 am – Veterans Day Celebration at Baish Park
2:00 pm – 6:00 pm- Free Car Wash for all veterans at Superior Car Wash (behind Pizza Hut on 20th)  
 
ARTESIA ARTS COUNCIL
*Artist in Residence – Oscar Hernandez artwork will be on display and for sale  in the lobby of the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center for the months of October and November.

Thursdays 4:00 pm: STEAM After School (Grades K-6.)

TOYS FOR TOTS
Central Valley Electric Cooperative will be the drop off point this year for Toys for Tots donations. This is Toys for Tots 75th anniversary of making Christmas wishes come true for needy children. They are asking for new unwrapped toys for children ages 0 to 18. Toys will be picked up on December 7.
 
ARTESIA GENERAL HOSPITAL
Tuesday, November 15 from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm inside the Green Chile Café at Artesia General Hospital, join CEO, Dr. Salgado, for a tour to showcase the new Behavior Health space.  More Info here.

DONATIONS FOR THE BRIDGE
Pioneer Title & Escrow Services along with Berkshire Hathaway office of Artesia is collecting items as a donation to the Bridge of Artesia. The Bridge is a new sober men’s living home. If you can help with  items ,  you may drop them off at the Chamber lobby, KSVP Radio lobby or Berkshire Hathaway lobby anytime M-F, 8-5.
