2024 marks 100 years since the Illinois #3 well struck oil in Eddy County. We are packing 100 years of fun into the weekend of June 14th & 15th in Artesia, NM.
Friday dinner with special guest, Alex Epstein (google him! He's great!) followed by a full day of family-friendly events on Saturday. Enjoy an oilfield equipment parade, events at the Derrick Floor statue downtown, oil & gas companies will go head to head in a cookoff competition, oilfield Olympic-style games, and live music all evening with headliner, Bart Crow!
Oil & Gas companies large and small are coming together to pay homage to the last century by celebrating the first commercial well in New Mexico to have paid royalties in the amount of a whopping $135!!
