Jessica Bollema, newly titled Executive Director as of December 2025, was a transplant to Artesia in late 2017 and began working at the Chamber in August of 2018. Her blended family of four with two dogs keeps her busy outside of work. She has a passion for cooking, sourdough, and interior design. In the past 9 years of living here, she has learned so much.

A few of her favorite things about Artesia are:

• Sunrise at Eagle Draw Park the first weekend in November every year when the skies fill with hot air balloons.
• Telling the incredible story to hundreds of visitors of the 47’ x 15’, 56,000 lb. Peter Hurd mural and how it came to be suspended 9 feet above the floor at Artesia Public Library!
• Watching new families visit or relocate to Artesia and fall in love just like she did.
