Holiday Closures 
We will be closed Saturday, November 11 for Veteran’s Day 
and Thursday & Friday, November 23 & 24 for Thanksgiving 
Preschool Story Time (November 7, 14, 21, & 28 @ 10:00am) 
For preschoolers ages 3-5 and their families. Includes crafts, reading aloud, alphabet awareness and early literacy, fun science facts, music, and more, all organized around a different fun theme each week. 
Mother Goose on the Loose (November 8, 15, 22, & 29 @ 10:00am) 
For infants through age 3 and their families. This is a fast-paced program designed to keep babies engaged with rhymes, songs, short books, puppets, baby games, and more. 
Toddler Move & Play (November 9, 16, & 30 @ 11:00am) 
For toddlers ages 1-3 and their families. Music, creative movement, group activities, play with age-appropriate toys, and social time. 
STEM After School (November 9, 16, & 30 @ 4:00pm) 
For students in grades K-6th and their families. Each week we offer a different fun activity to put STEAM techniques and ideas to work, from LEGO building to paper circuits, slime lab, and more. 
Teen Tuesdays (November 7, 14, 21, & 28 @ 3:30pm) 
Looking for a place to read, study, or just do homework and hang out? Join us every Tuesday from 3:30-5:00 p.m. for Teen Tuesdays. Grades 7-12. 
Yarn United (November 8 & 22 @ Noon) 
Whether you are crocheting, knitting, or just untangling the yarn, come and create and learn with other individuals. No matter your skill level, we encourage everyone to join us in creating with other yarnsters. (all forms of sewing and crafting welcome) Ages 18+ 
Family History (November 8 & 22 @ 4:00pm) 
Whether you have connected multiple generations of your family tree, or are just getting started, join the Family History, Genealogy at the Library. Take time to research or seek assistance in your journey.  
Christmas Card Drive (November 15 – All Day) 
Through the generosity of our community, we have collected hundreds of Christmas Cards and November 15 we are going to set them out in the library and ask that people come sign some. The cards will be distributed to local nursing homes, people who aren’t able to get out of their houses, and we will send a batch to an organization that will distribute them to the troops. Please contact Wendy at the library if you would like cards delivered to your office or for your organization to sign cards for the Christmas Card Drive. 
Crafts for Adults – Mesh Wreaths (November 16 @ 3:30pm) 
Have you seen the mesh ribbon wreaths at craft shows or on Etsy? Have you ever wanted to make one yourself, but just don’t know where to start? Wendy will show you one of the techniques to create a wreath base for Christmas. Supplies for the bases provided. Ages 18+ (as usual, kids are welcome, but supplies will be distributed to adults first).  
Teen Crafternoon – Thanksgiving Coasters (November 18 @ 2:00pm) 
Join teens for a Saturday Crafternoon. Take a break and relax designing and creating coasters for Thanksgiving. Grades 7-12. 
Noon Book Discussion Group (November 20 @ Noon) 
One of our favorite things to do around the library is share and discuss books. Come join in the discussion at our Noon Book Discussion Group which meets on the third Monday of the month. This month we are discussing The Wish by Nicholas Sparks. Books are available at the library and on Libby. 
Kitch Lit Book Discussion Group (November 30 @ 11:30am) 
Our foody book discussion group meets on the last Thursday of the month. Books for this group are always somehow related to food. This month we are discussing Summer at the Little Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan. Books are available at the library and on Libby.
